  • Sunrise Services For Church Of Walt

Today was meant for the hardcore Disney fanatics.  This is our group at 6:30 am, yep ... 6:30 am.  I actually was able to make it to the park in about 20 minutes, because at 5am ... every lane is the fast lane.  Although I have to admit that I was quite surprised there were so many of us there at that time, but then ... being that we love Disney so much maybe I shouldn't have been so surprised.  I kid you not when I say that we pretty much did everything we wanted to do by 10am.  The best part of the day though was the canoe races we had.

There were about 20 of us that dared to brave the canoes at 8 in the morning, and we were split into two groups.  We were halfway around Tom Sawyer's Island when our guide tells us we are going to have to race down to the barrel bridge with the other half of our group ... well ... this being my first time on the canoes I was hoping to win.  Let me say that I got WET because the guys in front of me were paddling with all they had.  Of course our canoe won, so it was worth getting wet.

I guess that is the main reason I like going to Disneyland a lot with my MC friends ... you always end up having fun in some unexpected and new ways.  Now I'm off to bed ... because after running around Disneyland for a few hours that early in the morning ... I need a nap.

  • Dear Liz,

    I'll bet.

    Have a nice nap.

I don't see anything wrong at all with a canoe race at eight in the morning. I've usually been up for at least four hours at that point. I've been going around my sub list this past weekend after having spent most of the past few weekends, as you already know, making my latest video, which is finally online. I just noticed your profile come to the top of the sub list, so I realized I haven't left you a "digital" comment in some time.

    You're usually mice chattin'.

My friend Jim sent me an 10 day free trial for WOW.

I still don't get any of it. At least I like Disney. (But I'll never be as "obsessed" as you are.

And soon, it has to, the novelty will wear off. I'm sure of it.

But in the meantime, a canoe race at eight sounds like just the ticket.

    Love, Michael, ppf
