  • With Valentine's Day around the corner I decided to lighten up my Xanga.  So, I used a picture Frank took for my background.  I hope he doesn't mind ...

    I'm about to see this movie:


    I only got it because the title intrigued me, and I know going in it is going to be bad ... but hopefully it is so bad it's good.

    You've got a veritable television station over here with all the YouTube clips. This spring and summer, there are no less than three high profile attempts to show some "grindhouse video". The most high profile is Quentin Tarantino's and Robert Rodriquez' aptly titled "Grindhouse". Coming to a movie theater near you soon. I clicked the YouTube logo on this entry's vid to see who posted it, and looked over the download site. I just got a new hard drive so I can store more of my raw footage for my video compilations, so I might purchase some movie downloads this year. Of course I need a "slingbox" or some other device to "beam" my video selections from the computer to the HDTV so I can watch them full size.

    Guess what? Speaking of videos, I've been burning the candle at both ends for the past two weeks, and have finally  completed my latest "masterpiece", "ArtViews." It is now availiable on my YouTube site and on my Xanga. I'm really quite proud of this latest effort. It's a selection of paintings and sculpture photographed at the Getty and Huntington Art Galleries, and for a soundtrack, I have made a "collage" of classical music pieces, and I call it "Classical Mash".

    I also journeyed to one of the YouTube sites who left you a comment on your YouTube. The Naked Rabbit Production of "Cat Head Theater." I must say I love this guy's sense of humor. He uses  professional equipment (at Disney, no less) in the off hours after work. Thanks for the inadvertant linkage.
