Went out for the first time in a LONG time out at night with my brother. He drives like a maniac, but the way things are now I can't turn down an offer for a ride somewhere. We went to go get some more of my favorite manga - TUXEDO GIN! I'm addicted to the stuff thanks to him.
Plus, today Mike came by and we went out to for a bite to eat and a movie. I walked around a lot, but it was so great to get out and feel the sun on me that I enjoyed it a lot. The majority of my time I spend in my room where I have everything - books, music, video games, movies ... and the kitchen is right outside my door as well.
I especially enjoyed the ride back home, since Mike has a convertible it was great to feel the wind in my hair as we drove along. If gas wasn't so pricey right now I'd offer to fill up the tank so we could just drive aimlessly around town. I truly do miss just driving around and getting around on both legs, but all things in due time.
My leg is feeling so MUCH better, and I honestly never thought I'd reach this point soon enough. Still don't have physical therapy yet, but probably will start this month. I'm feeling so much better though, almost normal ... I'm just gonna keep visualizing myself fully healed ... talking to my knee ... and reading it stories (it seems to like that).

it was an all right time out. i'm a little irritated that he was looking at other girls though. he said he does it to aggrevate me but i'm the one he takes home at night. i dunno what to make of that. a little childish i think. i wish you were online to chat though. i miss our chats. hurry up and get a working pc! i'm glad you're feeling better! that's awesome that you got to go out for a while. that always does one good. missing you. ((hugs))
I'm glad your coming along. prepare for more pain through physical therapy, but it's the good kind(no matter how much you won't believe me when you go " oh my god this hurts ") ....Maybe you can get hot twin physical therapists like I did. LOL
Actually. Get a cat to talk to your knee. It's rumoured that the vibration of a cats meow is similiar to a vibration used by sonic treatment machines used to do deep tissue massage (hopefully you get to experiance that in phyiscal therapy!) ....
Good luck honey!
Glad your leg is feeling better. Get out and get some of that sunshine its good for your healing process.
Well, maybe we'll be able to renew our date one of these days.
Glad to hear it's coming along for you.
Good to hear things are progressing so well:)

oh how i have a story for you. you know that "thing" you were going to send in the mail a while back but never got around to? well, the other day i ordered a bra online but it came in the mail and was too big. so i came to carl's work yesterday and him and his coworker were sitting there and i didn't want to say it was a bra, so i just refered to it as the "thing that came in the mail" and carl thought it was the thing you were going to send a while back and it had just come in the mail. i was telling him the "thing that came in the mail" was too big, way too big and i had to send it back to have it exchanged and then i told him it was the just my size thing (the bra brand) and he says "ohhhhhhh...i thought you were talking bout the thing that liz was going to send and i was gonna say it's too big???". guess i started blushing, and i don't blush often. it was so funny! just thought that you'd enjoy that story. it was so funny!!! hope you're doing okay. drop me an e-mail sometime. ((Hugs))
