I need not mine for the treasure of your words
With questions that seek for answers
What I want
Is for you to unfold before me
Just like the tight bud of a flower
Which unfolds and blossoms
Colorful and awesome to behold
For I can see
The treasure that lies behind
Your dark chocolate eyes
And I can smell the incense
Of your emotions that burn
On the coals of your heart
Why would I
Want to pick and transform
Your rough and natural nature
And then wear it as a jewel
In my crown for all to see
For there is more meaning
In the uncut stone
The unspoken word
The glimmer of an eye
A passionate kiss
And an embrace that takes one in completely
There is power in the unknown
There is force in the undefinable
There is passion in the untamed spirit
There is love in the unspoken spaces

i've been looking for an answer to a question i've had and this poem actually answered it. the quesiton was "why don't people just tell me what they want me to know instead of having me jump threw hoops?" i like the answer i found. it's more poetic than telling.

happy belated birthday

Happy birthday. I'm a Tarot reader, too.
